Welcome to Cheap Dental Care

My site is designed to help people looking to have dental work done cheaply.

If you find these rates interesting, read on:

Porcelain crown - $200

Root canal treatment - $70 per canal

Reinforcement $70

Standard filling - $25 (extra $3 for anaesthetic if needed

Tooth removal - $70

Implants - $1200+

I myself had 8 crowns put in last year, 7 teeth were root canal re-treated (after previous bad jobs by other dentists years ago) reinforced. All of this cost me $2400.

Sample total cost for the following: A 2-week holiday in Poland, 8 porcelain crowns:

Travel cost per person - $1000

+

Dental costs - $1000 - $2400

+

Attractions and food - $500

+

Accommodation - %700 (regardless of number of persons - max 4)

=

$4800

Here's the catch - you will have to travel to Poland.

If you find these rates ridiculously low, let me explain. The avarage Polish person earns $800 a month. I am a teacher in a kind of school that pays a bit better, and I had to work 3 jobs for a year to be able to save the money to buy me these crowns. Maybe this will help you understand that simply if they charged more, they wouldn't have any patients.

Are you beginning to understand? Read on:

A plane ticket both ways from USA to Poland can cost around $1000, from a European country - $200 +

Accommodation in Nowy Targ throughout summer - $360 a week - this is the price for staying in my private apartment in a block of flats which can sleep up to 4 people. (if you come with your wife and 2 children, for example, you'll be paying $13 per night per person!)

I will pick you up from the airport (CRACOW), drive you around, find attractions for you, take you to good restourants (local cuisine is famous).

If you do the math, you will realise that you can spend a vacation in Poland (near the mountains, Slovakia, Cracov) very cheaply, and get your teeth done by a professional dentist who specialises in crowns and dental restoration.

POLAND - is this the communist in the middle of nowhere dangerous place somewhere near Russia??

No. Poland is a civilised country. Camparable to Spain, for example - you have heard of Spain, right? Many people have an image of Poland that is totally untrue. I have seen the movie Hostel - which depicts Slovakia as this dark place ruled by thugs. But remember, this is just a movie.

I know Poland may sound to many Americans like a strange place to go to, so don't take my word for it - look it up in Wikipedia if you want:)

Polish dentists are known for high standards and professionalism - we have a very strict educational system which ensures high standards. There are sites out there that help dental tourists - this phenomenon is well known in Europe - lots of Germans cross the border to do their teeth here, the Irish and the British do too. You can use these sites and even check them out - type in dentists in Poland in google - they will help - but the rates they offer are much higher than the ones I quote here - mainly accommodation - $75 per night per person (compared to 13 here) plus their dental clinics charge more.

I can help you do it more cheaply. The only difference is that I am not based in a major city, but 50 miles away.

If you have any questions, feel free to skype me or email me - I am having a couple come here some time in July for a week, but the rest of the summer is available.
